Christmas carols are already playing on the radios and televisions, every department store started displaying Christmas trees and decors which reminds us that the Christmas holiday is just around the corner.
It's been a tradition in our country that on Christmas eve, the whole family, even those from other places gathered together and partakes on the delicious meal serve on the table on this special eve as we celebrate the birth of Christ, this tradition is popularly known as Noche Buena and then we all go to church before dawn to hear mass which we called Misa de Gallo.
Our Noche Buena (Christmas midnight feast) will not be complete without ham and cheese. So before this special event come, I have already bought gift baskets to be given away to our relatives and friends who will join us this coming Holiday. And my favorite gift basket is the cheese assortment platter which I especially bought for my mother because she's always the one who prepare our Noche Buena, and she loves cheese so much that she even requested my niece who is living in Holland to bring her some of those delicious cheeses from that country when she came here to visit last year.
For my kids, it's the Chocolate Lovers Classic gift basket, because chocolate is the all-time favorite for kids and kids at hearts.
